In Memory of Dale Coe Simons ’65

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Columbia College Board Chair, Dale Coe Simons ’65.

Dale joined the Board in 2012 and helped guide the College with a steady sense of purpose, always keeping the mission of Columbia (Christian) College at the forefront of every decision. Her commitment was not simply professional; it was deeply personal. She considered her role as Board Chair among her greatest honors. Dale’s love for Columbia College was evident in every conversation and at every meeting.

Dale will be remembered for her warmth, wisdom and unwavering dedication to our college community. She had a unique ability to bring people together, to listen thoughtfully, and lead with both conviction and compassion.

She will be deeply missed – not only as our Chair, but as our colleague and friend. Please join us in keeping Dale’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will share details of arrangements when they are announced.
