Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade

Sunday, July 7 | The parade will start at 1 p.m.

Columbia College-Crystal Lake is organizing a team to walk in the community's Independence Day Parade, and we want you to join us! Scooter the Cougar will even be there to help pass out candy. The parade follows a historical 1.8-mile route beginning at City Hall, proceeding down Dole Avenue and ending at the Lakeside Festival grounds. The 2019 parade is hosted by the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Crystal Lake Lions Club, the City of Crystal Lake, the Northwest Harold and Star 105.5.

Family and friends are welcome! Please register all who plan to walk in the parade.

Note: The parade rules limit a team to 30 participants. Children under 10 years old must be on a float or pulled in a wagon. Also, due to the extreme heat outside and on the pavement, all dogs must be on a float or in an air conditioned car.
